About Pokemon: The Game Is Real
The Pokémon game Naoki once knew inside and out has turned into a world as solid and real as his own. Dropped into it as a so-called player, he now has to claw out a living in a Pokémon world that no longer runs on "turn-based" rules. He went in assuming it would be a fair fight, an even contest of skill. So why did every other "player" come across as a little off? It was only when Naoki watched a crowd of them yelling that Magikarp was the most worthless Pokémon alive, and that switching and Toxic stalling was the strongest strategy in the game, that it all clicked. He was the only one who knew this world's real story.
